Sonja Sue Shelton Graham was born October 22, 1942, to Cecil and Cathryn (Clews) Shelton, and passed away September 6, 2021. She grew up on a farm outside Minneola, KS. Sonja graduated from Bloom High School, Bloom KS, in May 1960, after which she attended Sterling College in Sterling, KS. Sonja married Albert Graham on August 26, 1962, in Minneola, KS. She worked as a medical lab technician and an over-the-road truck driver. Sonja was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Cathryn Shelton and sister Shalah Mills. She is survived by her husband Albert Graham, Daughter Patti Pisano and her husband Mike, son Doug and his wife Silvia, and daughter Sue Cariveau and her husband Randy; grandchildren Carrie and Chambers, Garrett and Natalie, Katie and Jordan, Kyle, Sonja, and Sabrina; 4 great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Alexis, Alyzei, and Hunter; sister Sandra Butler and husband Bill, brother Ed and wife Maggie Shelton, brother Eldon Shelton; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family is having a private service, and they ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Association in Sonja's memory.
