Obituary

Stan Proctor, 76, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, in Greenville, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones. Stan was born on February 8, 1950, in Dallas, TX to William Carl Proctor and Margaret (Jacobus) Proctor. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5). The values he carried from his military service, duty, perseverance, and strength, remained with him throughout his life. For 53 years, Stan shared life with his wife and best friend, Carla Proctor. Together they built a family grounded in love, hard work, and commitment. They owned and operated Classique Printers in Farmersville, Texas, where they worked side by side and served their community. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who provided a steady presence for those around him. Stan loved working with his hands. A gifted woodworker, he could often be found building, repairing, or creating something new. He took pride in doing things the right way and in a job well done. Much of what he built will stand for years to come, but the greatest things he built were his family and the values he passed on to them. Stan never cared much for recognition or being the center of attention. He preferred to let his actions speak for him, and they did. He showed up for his family, worked hard, and did what needed to be done without asking for praise. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carla Proctor; his sons, Shaun Proctor and wife Lynn, and Chris Proctor and wife Rachel; his daughter, Misti Dunnuck and significant other Justin Nokes; and his cherished grandchildren: Adam, Andy, Brennan, Erickson, Klara, Lily, Madison, Marley, and Mason. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory forward. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, hospice staff, and all who provided care, comfort, and compassion during Stan's final days. A family led Celebration of Life will be held at his home at 3620 Old Mill Road, Greenville, TX, 75402 on Sunday, July 5th at 10am. Please wear casual attire. "Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23 May he rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: www.cff.org Family Directed Memorial Service Sunday, July 5, 2026 10:00 AM Proctor Home 3620 Old Mill Road Greenville,TX 75402
