Obituary

Tammy Lynn (Gideon) Bowles, age 64, passed away on October 24, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1962, in Grand Saline, Texas, to Roy and Wanda Gideon.

Tammy loved taking family vacations to Galveston, Texas, where she made treasured memories with the people she loved most. Above all else, Tammy's family was her whole world, and her grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart. Being a grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She cherished each of her grandchildren and loved them in her own special way. Her love for them was immeasurable, and the memories, laughter, and special moments they shared will forever be treasured. Her 17 great-grandchildren were also a beautiful part of the family she loved so dearly.

Some of Tammy's most treasured memories were made during Saturday night family get-togethers. These special gatherings brought everyone together to share laughter, stories, and time with one another. Those evenings were about more than just getting together; they were about family, togetherness, and the love that connected them all.

Tammy's greatest happiness came from having her family together. Whether making memories on family vacations or simply spending time with those she loved, she treasured the moments that brought everyone closer. Her love created a bond that will continue through the generations, living on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Tammy is survived by her beloved husband of 18 years, Donald Bowles; her sister, Teena Preston, and husband, Richard; her sons, Shane, Derek, and Zack Adams, and their wives, Andi, Rene, and Karina; and her stepsons, Luther Wise and Michael Bowles, and their wives, Rhianna and Jenny.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Mason, Bethany, Johnathan, Jaken, Bianca, Sadie, Christian, David, DJ, Dylan, Trinity, Breanna, Lacy, Nash, Josseline, Luka, Jeremy, Brittany, Destiny, Zackery, Matthew, Katie, and Issac; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members who loved her dearly.

Tammy's love was a gift to her family and nowhere was that love more evident than in the special place she held for her grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will carry on through every generation. Though her family will miss her more than words can express, they will forever hold close the memories they shared, the love she gave so freely, and the comfort of knowing that a grandmother's love never truly leaves the hearts of those she cherished.

Tammy will be forever loved, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered by the family who meant everything to her.
