Terri Jones Morgan, 62, of Greenville, Texas, passed away at home surrounded by family on the evening of December 26, 2025. Terri was born on October 28, 1963, in Levelland, Texas, to Donald "Buck" Jones and Melba Jones. She grew up in the small town of Sundown, Texas, with two older sisters and seven older brothers, making her the youngest of ten children. At the age of 17, Terri married Allan Durden in Big Lake, Texas. Together they had four daughters before later divorcing. Years later, Terri met Mike Morgan while working at his tobacco store. They worked side by side for 19 years, eventually falling in love and marrying in a backyard ceremony at their home in Greenville, Texas, on June 6, 2015.Terri enjoyed spending long summer days in her yard, tending to her flower beds and plants. She took pride in maintaining a beautiful tan and was known for her humor, which she kept right up until the very end. She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Morgan of Greenville; her daughters Angela Durden of Mesquite, Texas; Danielle Tutza of Princeton, Texas; and Amber Bruton of Jonesboro, Texas; her sisters Martha Jane and Betty Sue; her brothers Sammy, Bobby, Jimmy, Billy, and Gary; her grandchildren Lexi, Dylan, Hunter, Ben, Casin, Autum, TJ, and Rihanna; two great-grandchildren; her Aunt Nita; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Terri was preceded in death by her daughter Dusty, her parents Donald and Melba Jones, her brothers Dickey and Ronny, and many other loved ones. Services will be announced at a later date.
