Terry Lynn Carter, lovingly know to her friends as "T.C.," "T.L.C.," or simply "Carter," passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on November 14, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Sturgill Holliday and Jeannette (Robinson) Anderson. Terry was a warm, loving person who had a unique way of connecting with everyone she met. Whether she knew you or not, she made sure you felt like family. She was known for her quick wit, often starting a playful comeback that could brighten the room. Terry lived life on her own terms, with no apologies. She is survived by her son, Joseph Carter and Kimberly Hunter; her daughter, Sky Johnson and husband Ryan; her sister, Tania Dittmar and husband Gordon, Kim Keck; brother, Troy Story and wife Stacy; grandchildren: Desmond Bailey, Mason Bailey, Daxon Bailey, Jasmine Moore and husband Brandon, Hailee Johnson, Julien Johnson and Scarlett Beaman; great-grandson, Kaiden Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, along with a slew of loving friends who will miss her dearly. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Sturgill Holliday and Jeannette (Robinson) Anderson; her husband, Micheal Carter; and her brothers, Tracy Anderson and Tony Cutshaw, along with her sister, Tina Cutshaw. Terry's spirit will live on through her family and the many lives she touched. She will be remembered with love and affection.
