Therisa Aline Melton Goodwin, 66, of Greenville, passed away September 1, 2026 at Hunt Regional Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2026 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas at 9:00 am. With the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 am. Interment at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. Teri was born on March 21, 1960 to Wanda Dean Wallace and E.W. Melton. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her life partner, Johnny Smith of Greenville, her step father Marshall Wallace of Greenville, children Michael Melton and Jennifer of Greenville, Keith Goodwin and Stephenie Webb of Fate and David Melton of Greenville and bonus daughter Valerie Smith of Irving. Grandchildren: Tayler, Brandon, Tabitha, Riley, Rebecca, Brittney, Chris and Sammy. Bonus grandchildren Oriana, Isiah, Elorm and Amayia. Great grandchildren: Parker, Palmer, Olivia, Porter, Reagan, Tailyn and Josie. Bonus great grandchildren Amelia and Lilliana. And numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, sisters Cora Lynn Melton, Nancy McClure and Tammy Melton and brothers Vernon Melton Sr. and Roger Melton. Pallbearers will be Michael Melton, Keith Goodwin, David Melton, Brandon Melton and Chris Melton.
