Timmy Joe Ashford, 61, of Rockwall passed away on June 23, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1962 in Durrant, Oklahoma to Clifton and Pearlea Ashford. Timmy was a genuine man with a very giving soul. He loved animals and being outdoors. Timmy was skilled at arts and crafts and making crosses while woodworking was one of his greatest joys. Timmy loved his siblings, nieces and nephews very much. Timmy is survived by his sister, Tammy Smith and husband Jason; brother, Ben Ashford; nephews: Robert Smith and fiancé Christie Robertson, Michael Workman, Tommy Workman, Cliff Ashford and wife Jean; numerous other nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Pearlea Ashford; sister, Nancy Workman; and brother Hayden Ashford. Family to have a private memorial on June 25, 2024. Timmy's cremains will be laid to rest in the mountains of Oklahoma.
