Twyla "Ta-Ta Turtle" Wynell Weatherbee, 52, of Royse City, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 28, 2023. Twyla was born to Wynell and Chester Dewayne Harris on January 23, 1971, in Dallas, Texas. Twyla loved to sing at church and had a beautiful voice. She liked to craft and go to garage sales. Twyla also loved her family dearly. Twyla is survived by her husband of 29 years, Eddie Weatherbee; father, Chester Dewayne Harris; children: Monty Weatherbee, Joey Weatherbee, Courtney Nichlson and husband Dakota, and Rebecca Lynn Hurd and husband Kevin; grandchildren: Hayden, Teagan, Josiah, Jayton, Evan, Lane, Alexis, Justin, Savannah, Connor, Logan, Kolton, Kayden, and Abby; sisters: Dee Cranfill and husband James, and Jamie Harris; nephews: Jaeson (her Nugget) Harris and wife Tirzah Joy, Japheth Cranfill, and Jeriah Cranfill; Uncle, Aubrey Harris and wife Linda; 62 cousins; along with a host of loving friends; and rottweiler babies: Sabur, Xena, and Falcon. Twyla is preceded in death by her mother, Wynell Harris on May 23, 2021; daughter, Rachel Harris; and grandchild Amelie Warren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, at 11:00 AM at Harvest Baptist Church, with Bro. Jerry Scott leading the service. A visitation will take place Sunday, December 3, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
