Venita June Lloyd, 85 of Pointe, Texas passed away on September 16, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1938 to Lester Elder and Dovie Aline (Shearer) Lumsford in Wolfe City, Texas. Venita is survived by her son James Lloyd and wife Laura; grandchildren, J.R. Wolfe, Karri Wacasey and partner Katy, Cody Lloyd; great grandson, Cashton Lloyd; sister, Gail Holland and husband Ron; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. Venita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lloyd; daughter, Jackie Sasser; and sister, Sue Gladdin. The family to have a Celebration of Life in her honor at a later date. She will be laid to rest in her favorite places, at the beach in Galveston and in the mountains in Colorado.
