Wilford "Butch" Marion Coulter Jr. passed away on October 31, 2026.
To know Wilford was to love him. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a quick wit, and a way of making people laugh. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
Wilford had a special place in his heart for people who were going through difficult times. Having faced his own share of struggles throughout his life, he understood what it meant to need a helping hand. Over the years, he helped countless people in whatever ways he could, sometimes even when he had very little to give himself.
His life was not without its challenges, but through it all, his humor, compassion for others, and faith in Jesus remained important parts of who he was.
Wilford is survived by his wife, Pam Coulter; his sisters, Kim Jackson and Debra Davis; his children, Aletha Kruse, Wilford III, and Jennifer; his stepchildren, Aaron Barrett and Amy Roberts; and his grandchildren, Faith, Jacob, Calyx, Abel, and Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Coulter, and his father, Wilford Marion Coulter Sr.
Wilford loved Jesus, and his family finds comfort and peace in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of his Savior, free from the struggles of this earthly life.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his ability to make friends wherever he went, and the kindness he showed to those who needed it.
May he rest in the peace he so often searched for in life.
